Meet Chef Lynette

Cooking has been a lifelong passion. I love creating beautiful food, experimenting with recipes, and perfecting time-tested techniques. I love the process of “making,” and joyfully offer my creations with love and gratitude. Seeing people’s eyes light up when they taste my food is what fuels me. I love sharing my joy of cooking through careful preparation, presentation, and instruction. I invite you to join me on my culinary journey!

My name is Lynette. I a country girl with a love of cooking and am inspired to share with others. My great aunt shared her love of cooking with me when I was very young and after 30 years of learning from chefs from different levels of experience, went to back to school and I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lake Washington Technical College with two ASA degrees: one in Culinary Art and one in Baking Art.

I became a certified through the American Culinary Association and was honored to compete in local and world food competitions.

Then moved back home to Port Townsend with the dream of opening my own business and sharing all I learned with my home community. Hills and Valley Catering has been a dream come true.
